In addition to laying out the tenets of the religion, the Divine Teachings also strictly forbids all forms of necromancy and blood magic, magics that are practiced by Necros and Rhovan respectively.   The series of texts, also include a variety of other stories, lessons, and instructions. This includes the original instructions on creating Divine Lights.

Ceremonies

The texts also contain details for certain ceremonies and festivities. The Divine Teachings outlines the beginnings of the Magic Lights Festival and other uses for the divine lights.

Paladin Order

Additionally, the texts discuss the origins of the Paladin Order, and set rules and guidelines for the order and their training.

Original Documents

The original texts are compiled and preserved at the Temple of Torva in Torverath. They are heavily guarded relics that are protected under glass, magic enchantments, and a controlled environment. With permission of the temple, worshipers may view the texts, which must remain within their cases.   Priestesses, monks, and civilians are able to purchase translated copies of the Divine Teachings as a book, which is widely available.
