Session 31: Getting Greevil
General Summary
Team 8 was enjoying lunch in the Goblin Nook when a kobold arrived with an envelope for Deld. Within this envelope was a note declaring that Greevil was being held hostage and a photo of Greevil. Deld requested that Team 8 help him rescue his brother. Team 8 accepted the mission. However, they required that Deld not become involved with the rescue. They did recruit Yorb to assist them. They received intel on Team 1 from Kamil.
Upon their arrival at the Sodo Warehouse, the team does a drive around the block to scope out the area. They easily spot the MP units milling about the parking area. They park at the Second Use Building Materials across the road on S Hind St. From there, they decide to send Seardon in. He scouts the area and is successful in getting them the locations of the various units and the members of Team 1. The team decides to attempt to negotiate with Clarissa.
They approach the building from the south where Clarissa is stationed in front of one of the doors. Avitus approaches her and presents their case; stating that they did not kill Kamil. He relates the events that occurred at the farm. How Kamil was shot by an unknown sniper. He also explained that she was resurrected by Mouse. Avitus has Kamil and Clarissa speak with each other on a video call. They plan to meet with each other later; phone numbers are exchanged. Clarissa leaves the area, taking her MP unit with her. She gives Avitus the caution that Millard will kill on sight and will not be persuaded. She states that she believes that one team or the other will die here if they want to save Greevil.
Ricky arrives at the Goblin Nook to find the goblins in distress. When he finds out what has happened, he decides to go to the Sodo Warehouse and provide assistance with saving Greevil.
Team 8 goes into the warehouse and engages with Millard and the MP unit that he has command of. The MP unit fires upon them like storm troopers and thus are easily subdued. Millard lays down heavy fire with a large machine gun, but Avitus overwhelms him. When Millard goes down, he chooses to blow himself up with a grenade in an attempt to take out Avitus with him. Ricky arrived on the scene just in time to get a grenade dropped next to him. Yorb is able to show team 8 that he is a skilled swordsman and is able to hold his own in battle.
Avitus finishes off Millard and the MP members by stomping on their heads. The party finds Greevil in an office. He is superficially roughed up, but is more scared than anything. Avitus carries Greevil out of the warehouse and the mission is completed. They drive back to Onureth Taoul without incident where they gather at the Goblin Nook.

Each of the characters involved have increased their rapport with Greevil who is grateful that he was rescued. All the characters involved also increased their rapport with Deld who is grateful that his brother was rescued and his pretty much unharmed. Avitus has increased his rapport with Clarissa as he was willing to speak with her directly and negotiate on the group's behalf.Missions/Quests Completed

Notes
After having saved Greevil from Team 1, the members of Team 8 expressed concerns regarding the overly aggressive behaviors of Avitus during their battle with Millard and the MP unit. They felt that Avitus killing the MPs was outside of his normal behavior and questioned if this was a result of having recently made a contract with a devil. They met with Mouse and Moxie to have Avitus checked. His curse was removed at that time by Mouse.
