Sanctuary

A dodecahedrane building on an isolated island in the gem sea. Whilst it lay mostly undiscovered till the Fey age, it was found to be how people survived the first cycle of destruction. Giving more context to the Cry of Destruction. Built of granite and carved into the ground the building is an impressive size able to shelter around a thousand people. The inside is large with a spiral staircase leading to the ground floor. On each wall as you travel round is the story of each seal, with reliefs of each time it was broken or saved. A statue of the first to break that seal opposite, with a small shrine to The wanderer at the bottom. At the entrance is a statue of six primordial warriors. The bottom of the star case is a large room with a fire pit in the middle.  

Wall One

Wall one tells the story of how a promising air primordial student, and favourite of Garnia, found the secret of eternal life, creating the first phylactery and becoming the first lich. This, despite a group of adventure's efforts, broke magic and thus the seal of reality. The statue opposite depicts a young air primordial in dark robes decorated in green flames, later to be revealed as the First lich back when he was alive.

Wall Two

The story continues with how western wild men, seeing an advantage due to the lose of magic, breaching the Dread Wall and attacking the fire nomads, slaughtering them, before moving out towards the other tribes and kingdoms. The statue is of a Wildman war chief wearing hide armour and carrying a pair of axes.

Wall Three

The story tells of how in his rage at the destruction of his people, Zumil scorched the land, destroying everything, even light and dark. Though parts of the wildmen army survived the land itself was destroyed, forcing them into the farms of the shadow kingdoms. The statue is of Zumil in his godly form.

Wall Four

Being pushed further east the wildmen sacked and burned villages and farms, taking what they could while trying to outrun Zumil. Thus leading to a food shortage throughout the region, leading to riots and desperate measures as citizenry raided and looted the city stores and then homes of the wealthy. The statue is of a group shadow citizens with pitchforks and torches.

Wall Five

With the crisis growing several earth tribe chiefs came together to try and rally together to repel the invaders now on their borders. Old rivalries however are stoked and it turns into a battle, leading to several deaths, oaths of vengeance and more disunity then before. The statue is of a Earth Tribe Chief, holding the head of another.

Wall Six

With things turning more desperate the Wanderer visited the floating citadels of light, to persuade them to gather and help the other groups. He was cast out, turning to the Water nomads, they to refused to help, instead turning to the water and diving to the depts. The Statue is of a light primordial in regal robes and a crown with wings outstretch.

Cycle Three: Ashare, Lord of Murder lying dead with various banners from the silent lake city states sticking out her back.
 

Wall Seven

A preacher appeared in the kingdom of light, sent by the scourge to proselytizing to the common people and turning them against not only the nobles but each other. Preaching self importance and claiming what you deserve regardless of what you need to do to get it. the spread riots even wider, leading to entire cities being destroyed by it's own people and fall to the ground. The final rulers fell leaving the world without direction and every person for themselves. The statue is of a preacher with an evil grin as he spouts rhetoric.

Cycle Two: A shadowy figure wearing a crown persuading mages to come out of their secret holds, as imps wait to tear them apart. (Cracked)
Cycle Three: Grunkle's Angels battle corrupted shadow counterparts of themselves in Vioddoll.
 

Wall Eight

In desperation a group of water nomad serpent guard raced to find Diama, god of protection and guardian of life. Though the eventually found him, they were to late and he had already been beheaded. HIs cold body laying under Hynadon. The adventures realizing all Hope was lost retreated and got as many survivors to this sanctuary, in an attempt to save what they could. Hope however was lost. The statue is of Hynadon.

Wall Nine

Wall nine just has the cry of destruction written on it, though it ends with an extra line in ancient Primordial. The statue is of death in the form of a cloaked teen with a pale skin and raven black hair, holding an hourglass.
