David was conceived at the Destill when his mother was looking for a job. The job of raising a sickly son was not was she was expecting to get. Yet here he is, 17 years later and still alive. He also has 34 younger siblings, with more on the way. At least his stepfather is nice. Oh, did he mention? His stepfather is a Dark Elf - like Half of him. His mother and most of his siblings are Rabbit-kin. With other Beast-kin and Human mixes here and there.

His stepfather somehow knew Steve and so David was asked to come into the classroom in order to give a Rabbit-kin presence to the classroom. Also a potential future pathway as a researcher. He hasn't really thought about the future much, he has often been too sick to care. But his mother said once he becomes a proper adult he will be 100% well, so this would be a good opportunity for him.
Guess he'll give it a go.

Weekends: He 'burrows' to his [home] where siblings, other and stepfather live. Magic: Burrowing - due to earth and rabbit magics - a kind of portalling/quick burrowing. What would take a day takes him an hour to travel underground, basically.
