Kamui: Native Gods

For some reason, Knight Commander Maxim seems to have drawn the attention of the Kamui, native gods of Japan who outdate even the Amatsukami. Perhaps it is his very status as an outsider that affords him the opportunity to consort with these elusive beings.
Oyau Kamui was eventually persuaded to join the Wolfpack itself, in exchange for souls to feed upon regularly, and Repun Kamui has bestowed the Knight with their favor. A Kamui from the Hearth gifted him a sword. Others, however, such as Kenas-unarpe Kamui and the one hunting her, are less friendly and often outright dangerous.
