Summary
An ill-omened creature born from a human bearing a powerful grudge. The Dodomeki's hundred eyes are said to be able to see all sin and to find sinners no matter where they hide. Once it has found the target of its grudge, the Dodomeki is tireless, using its great strength and accursed claws to tear apart everything that stands in the way of vengeance. This bout of violence does not end when the accused is dead. Instead, a Dodomeki is known to always be vigilant for new slights, inventing them if it has to, in order to find a new target for its wrath. This particular Dodomeki is actually Momose Nao, a boy whose rage at the supposed murder of his sister poisoned his soul to the point of transformation. Guided by Sumisaki Hisae, Nao slayed and sacrificed many of his fellow innocent villagers before Aotsuki Tsukamoto stepped in. It came to be revealed that Nao's sister had committed suicide. This may be why the Dodomeki's endless gaze could not find the culprit. Nao seems closer to exerting control over this Dodomeki form, but the thing is still a creature of darkness and hate and should therefore be treated with caution.Unique Abilities
Accursed Accuser: Any who meet the gaze of a Dodomeki feel as though the creature can see into their soul and is weighing their sins. A creature in such a situation must make a Psychic Resistance check with a difficulty equal to twice the Dodomeki's presence [160] or become mentally drained from the experience, immediately losing half of their current Fatigue. In addition, the Dodomeki gains vague knowledge of any action committed in the past month that the affected creature considers to be a sin. If the target succeeds on its resistance check, the Dodomeki instead only gathers whether it is feeling guilty at the current moment. Inescapable Torment: A Dodomeki may make attacks with its natural weapons using Psychic Projection against any target it can currently see.
