Silver Wolf

A powerful fey who choses to take the form of a giant wolf. She is a patron of hunters and a champion of the court.

Tenets of Faith

The hunt is everything. Not the need for hunting but the hunt itself. Tracking, pursuing, catching, and slaying are reflected in all aspects of life so live yours as if always on the hunt.
Hunting is a sacred act. Do not stain it by toyimg with your prey. If the hunt is too simple, find better prey.

Personal history

For as long as anyone can remember the Silver Wolf has been a champion of the court, protector of the Queen, and the punisher of those who displease Her Majesty. The wolf is known to be the most uptight and rigid member of the archfey which makes her a frequent target for tricks and pranks. The worst of these was when her tail was stolen by the Sylvan Trickster. Since then the Wolf has devoted a consierable amount of time to avenging herself upon the Trickster.
Despite their mutual hatred it was the Wolf who proposed freeing the Trickster to help with dealing with a threat to the elven forests, Once the threat was repelled the Wolf wasted no time in ensuring the Trickster was put under restrictions again.
When not hounding the Trickster the Wolf devotes her time to hunting through the feywild or acting as her queen's fangs. This has resulted in her making many enemies amongst the greater and lesser fey. There are few now willing to aid her as all are aware that the merest whim of the queen could have the Wolf's fangs at their throat.

Lycanthropes

Regularly being in the form of a wolf has given rise to rhe mistaken belief that the Silver Wolf is the source of Lycanthropy. This belief is spread by agents of the Trickster has given rise to her other name - Lady Moonfear. This name is often used by Shifters who fear that she may one day cause them to revert.

History

These two bitter enemies were unlikely to ever get on as they belong to the opposing courts. Originally they were just opponents on opposite sides but things escalated after the Trickster stole the Silver Wolf's tail.
They now direct their followers, both fey and mortal, to undermine the other's plans.

Appearance

Despite being an Eladrin, Moonfear prefers the form of a gaint wolf. Her wolven form has glowing silver hair and is about 12ft from nose to tail. Her eyes are like glowing emeralds and her teeth appear polished to a reflective white.

The Wolves

The Silver Wolf is willing to make pacts with mortals who share her love of the hunt. She demands offerings and tales of the hunt and will task her wolves with hunting difficult prey. She also demands that they disrupt the plans of any of the trickser's minions. Her followers can usually be identified from wolf and moon tattoos.
