Mahalid
Mahalid is the second from the east city of Blessed Shores and home to most churches and temples around here. The city is managed through theocracy and the defense power of local Blessed Guardsmen battalion "Eye of the Faithful" is based on divine warriors.
Government
The management of Mahalid is done through the Sacred Board of Divine Abbots, the large council of religious leaders. Every year, one of them is chosen as a member of Blessed Shores Wisdom Council through the so-called 'Miracle Competition". Each of the willing leaders performs a religious rite to show their God's blessing, and the independent gathering of jurors chosen from Mahalid citizens decides the victor. In the 931st year from the Rising Star, Haliel the Seaborn showed the blessing of Attolony, the Keeper of the Evercalm Sea through finding the priceless golden pearl right by the seashore and was chosen to be a representative in the Wisdom Council for this year.
The leader of the "Eye of the Faithful" and simultaneously the representative of Mahalid in the Martial Chamber is separately chosen between paladins of the city. The holy warriors participate in the special event prepared by the Sacred Board to determine the best martial leader. The competition named "The Holy Trial" includes strategic, tactical, and combat tasks to rigorously assess the performance of participants and designate the Divine Sentinel of Mahalid.
