Aemari of Holypertuis

Aemari is the head of the Enchantment school in Holypertuis. A commoner who rose thanks to her ability to the role of leader, her ego grew alongside her power. Haughty and manipulative, Aemari uses Magic as often as needed to influence those she meets and to get what she wants.

Characteristics

Physical features

Sighing with weary exasperation, the tall woman produces an elegant wand from her lavishly tailored dress and cleans the muck from her equally exquisite talons with a muttered incantation. Her statuesque features are magnificent.

Mental traits

Aemari is a powerful spellcaster able to manipulate the mind of most mortals, her power only rivaled by her opinion of herself. The wizard's magic could persuade one he is madly in love with the king, or push someone to kill himself quickly with ease.

History

Aemari parents were rich merchants but did not possess any noble title. Raised with a silver spoon, Aemari was sent to the Enchantement school by the age of 11. Her she learned how to use the Weave to manipulate the thought of others, yet the young girl hated the time and effort required to study.
As she was still a young student, the leader of the Academy of magic, Jaina Proudmoore visited the school and made a quick demonstration of her skills. Aemari was amazed and managed to get an audience with the famous wizard, asking her to become her pupil. Jaina rejected the offer due to Aemari lack of work.
Since that day, Aemari despise Jaina, however, this gave her the motivation she needed, and she worked harder that anyone else. She was not especially talented, yet with her hard work, she managed to rise among the top student in only three years.
Her ego grew alongside her power, the young woman believing herself superior to any of the students, and using magic to change the mind of anyone who would dare to say the opposite. A few years later, her skills were unmatched, and Jaina came again, not for a simple visit, but to choose the next head of the school.
Aemari displayed the potential to be the director of the school, but she clashed with Jaina. Thankfully for Aemari, Jaina was advised to look past her personal dispute and made her the head of the enchantement school.

Helping adventurers

A group of adventurers, seeking informations about vampire and the shadowfell sought an audiance with Aemari. During the audience, the adventurers explain that they would like access to the forbidden parts of the library to help them in their quest.
Lying, they explain that they need information on vampire resurrection rituals to avoid such an event. Ginette, one of the adventurer, also explained that she had made the request directly to the academy's director, Jaina Proudmoore, but that she had refused them access despite the urgency of the situation, but hoped that Aemari would use her discernment, being known for her intellect, and allow them access to the entire library.
Aemari, happy to stand up to Jaina, agrees, but allows herself one more request. A wine of vampiric creation is renowned for its taste and effects, the "bewitching wine". If the group of adventurers has to face vampires or cultists of this milieu and they have the opportunity to obtain such a wine, let them bring it back to her.
