Knight of Vintiver

The present day is filled with technological advances, but also dangers. Space travel to move to other worlds every few years, competition against shinier, newer clicks, and the looming threat of being handed to a cruel Breath-of-Life All-Mighty.
But with the dangers also came technological luxuries. The Lions of Vintiver got enough fortune to rise the Castle of Vintiver complete with its blacksmith, alchemist and slightly tamed dragon, and they needed to protect this newly acquired infrastructure.
And what's best to protect it than the people that came to them from afar, attracted by all of that luxury?

Most of the military prowess in the castle of Vintiver is divided between archers and cavalry.
While the archers are stationed behind the castle's walls and in charge of the dragon, the knights surround the Lions of Vintiver proper, riding on heavy horses and clad with armour, shields and banners of the Lions.

Heavy weaponry and fine pennants

The knights are trained at the most basic level in the use of swords, greatswords, heavy armour and, more importantly, proper carrying of decorated shields, banners and pennants. After all, most of their duties revolve around highlighting the grandiosity of the Lions of Vintiver.
However, some of the knights are also trained in the use of much heavier weaponry, such as mauls, heavy axes and cannons. Nothing of this makes up for their lack of slightly tamed dragons, which bothers them immensely.
