It is a town of culture, colour and strange relationships to say the least, it would seem perfect if not for the moment two different cultures from the boiling pot of Thysia come to blows with one another... then it shows the risk of what failure could mean for Samtal.

Samtal is a large and relatively new town in the nation of North Razdelin that sits on the seaside but stretches out with small hamlets building up across the noerthern landscape. Notably, Samtai make use of the Paradosia concept of 'feeder villages' in the same mould as Carivel Minor. As a result, Samtal have grown quickly without needing to concern themselves with a lack of supplies or support. This support has also come in the form of heavy investment from Izim Faralda Pallinee into the town as a whole to ensure it works effectively. Samtal has a docks but, notably, does not place much interest or stock in them. Instead the town carries a focus on building knowledge and culture in the north. With it's Samtal Education Centre offering a variety of schooling in magic, practical degrees and artistic rewards it has ensured Samtal is a desirable space to visit for many nations across Thysia; especially Sibi and Paradosia as it's closest naval neighbors. Samtal is a town that has been built quickly to account for it's needed growth and, in the fallout of the Cataclysm, a need for homes and community for many people in Razdelin. However, what was not accounted for was the fast growing popularity of Razdelin as a place in Thysia and Samtal is either seen as a beneficiary or a victim of that... depending on perspective. This is due to the multicultural aspect of Samtal, with individuals from across Thysia migrating there to build new lives for themselves in a new and flourishing town. Though often this means that the values of these residents clash against one another, resulting in high levels of crime and aggression that Samtal continues to try and find a solution for.
