Highfield Manor
Highfield Manor is the estate owned and operated by Hayden Highfield, the Baron of Mull, and his family.
Purpose / Function
The family estate of Baron Hayden Highfield. The Manor has a large dairy operation, a very large vegetable farm, four large dovecotes, a very fine water mill, and breeds mules and hounds. The estate's farms also produce rye, barley, oats, hay and wheat.
Alterations
The Highfields originally purchased the abandoned fortified house and the ten acres of land it was located on. Over the years, they have expanded the estate to its current size of 240 acres, and a small but vibrant village has sprung up to house and keep the 88 souls that work the estate.
Architecture
The original structures were built of local stone, but many were long abandoned or disused and needed repairs. This has given some of the structures a rather unique appearance, but the functionality of the operation is unquestionable.
