City of Mull
The City of Mull the baronial seat of the Barony of Mull in the Kingdom of Lesser Imesse. It has a population of more than 19,000 souls and is growing rapidly. The city surrounds a tall castle, Mull Castle, which is the traditional seat of the Baron of Mull and the former residence of the Tabor Family. The Castle now is the primary defensive and administrative center for the Barony, but the current Baron, Hayden Highfield, maintains a modest residence within the city a few hundred yards downhill from the Castle gates.
The town is located between Mull Castle and the Mull River along the slope of a rocky hill. It has a large river port along the south bank of the river and vast quantities of produce, goods and people move through the port every month.
Government
Ruled by the Baron and administered by a Lord Mayor.
Defences
The city is dominated by Mull Castle, a tall, high-walled castle with a very well-defended gatehouse. While no noble resides within the Castle, it is still a fully functioning and fully defensible fortress. There are four city gates that give access through the stout city walls, the largest of these is Watergate with its bridge over the Mull River. The city walls themselves are only partially complete. In areas where the walls have fallen or were never completed, a stone and hedge wall has been grown that is as good a defense as a stone wall. The sections of hedge wall are (on average) 20' tall and at least 18' thick masses of blackthorn, holly and yew. These sections are practically impenetrable, and some are more than 200 years old.
The City has a Company-sized force of professional city Guard that are well trained and highly disciplined. They are led by the veteran Ranger Tom Herden.
Infrastructure
Well built cobble streets, several fine stone fountains, stone and timber-framed buildings with shake and slate roofs. The riverfront district has many newly constructed quays and piers for the loading and unloading of barges, and a fine level road leads west along the river towards the Caldar.

History
During the winter of 10-9 BF, Benn Ohn rested his army of more than 6,000 hardened veterans just two miles from the walls of Mull. The city had surrendered to the new King without a fight, and the ruler of the region, Marin Tabor (later Marin am Tabori), was affirmed as the Lord and Ruler of Mull. Ohn used the then still plentiful forests of ancient oaks and yews to build several additional massive trebuchets for his continuing conquest of the south and paid for the materials with promises of lands and titles once the conquest was complete.
