Xarnas VI
A large gas giant in the Xarnas System, the home system of the legendary Xadia Ancients.
Xarnas VI is the largest planet in the system. It has a small amount of archaeotech within its solid core, which is difficult to reach, let alone extract, due to the gravitational forces and pressures involved. The HF has sent drones down to the core of this world in order to extract this archaeotech, and to allow the HF to use it. Although the HF has managed to extract about half of all the archaeotech on the planet (The HF managed to construct a Sovereign Light - Class Advanced Cruiser in orbit of this planet and still had some archaeotech to spare), they have yet to extract the other half.
In order to make the extraction attempts easier, the HF has not deployed gas giant extraction stations around the world. These would have large cables stretching down deep into the atmosphere to harvest hydrogen gas frim the gas giant. These cables have large exclusion zones around them, and might be difficult for drones resurfacing to avoid. Archaeotech is much more valuable than hydrogen.
The temperature of the gas giant is very cold. It is closer to the temperature of an ice giant relative to most gas giants, but has few heavy elements.
It has 13 large, planet sized moons orbiting it. These have presented many oppurtunities for the HF to extract, and also have a measure of archaeotech that is more easily exploited, but the moons don't have as much as the gas giant itself. It also features a significant asteroid ring that the HF extracts for regular metallic materials. No archaeotech has been found in the asteroid belt.
