Biham IV

A planet in the Biham System.
Biham IV, like other worlds in the system, is heavily fortified. Although the world has a cold surface temperature, that did not stop the Cypher Dominion from deploying a large number of mining machines on the world to exploit its materials which are widely used by the CD for weapons and ammunition. 
As such, it has several large space elevators. They are armed and also protected with a large number of stations in high / medium orbits. Despite it's cold temperatures and almost constant snow, it has a large population. The population lives in large sealed off domes. 
This allows the CD to build a large industry on the world. This industry is used to manufacture weapons and ammo. 
Furthermore, they use the world for military exercises and training. The large number of mostly featureless areas mean that armoured combat is the most widely used. 
However, the settlement also requires a significant food, fuel and other supplies to remain operational. The environment is especially unoptimal for growing food.
