Beosus
The Beosus galaxy is a large, inactive spiral galaxy that is almost entirely comprised of antimatter.
A number of spacefaring species have evolved in the Beosus galaxy, most of their weapons fire various types of antimatter at the target, which is also likely to be made of antimatter. In a war against any species of regular matter, the side that scores a hit first is likely to be victorious. However, some factions have built entirely-antimatter drones to explore the Beosus galaxy more effectively. The HF in particular has constructed a large number of 'antimatter Vector' drones. Many non-antimatter HF assets in the Beosus galaxy are often shielded in Hardlight which does not annihilate with antimatter.
Possibly due to Deja - Vu, similar species can be encountered in the Beosus galaxy, except made of antimatter. They are called a different species because of their inability to reproduce with those of normal matter (they would annihilate each other). Antimatter variants of almost all sentient species have been found in the Beosus galaxy, including anti suons, anti Troznux. The galaxy is not fully unified yet and there are several factions that continue to fight for dominance of the galaxy. Some larger intergalactic factions have somewhat interfered, such as the Cypher Dominion and Xalarin Council which continue to try and destroy every species here.
The Beosus galaxy was fabricated by The Universalists partially as an experiment and partially to provide an easy way to annihilate matter to obtain energy.
