Origin - The family is responsible for setting up trade within Telmar that benifitted Arden greatly, which led to the family being awarded the Noble rank by the King

Origin - The family was a major influence in mustering the defences against a Gnoll Invasion. After the Gnolls defeat, they were granted Noble-status and lands around Milltown

The House of Barrington
Location - Barrington
Coat of Arms - A white 5-pointed star above an eye, on a field of blue
Founded - ~350 AF
Origin - The family was the original founders of the Town of Barrington. After the town was a success and many came to live and farm the land, Lordship was granted to the family

Location - Amal Veor
Coat of Arms - A ship placed to the bottom on a field of light blue, with an embattled split to light grey to the top with an eight-pointed star and a crown, both yellow or gold in colour
Origin - A great General and friend to a King of old. Granted the lands and City of Amal Veor, and a charge over the King's Navy to defend the lands.

Location - Rosendgen
Coat of Arms - A griffin of black sat upon a green and red field divided parted per cross
Origin - Rosendgen and its surroundings were gifted to a great novelist, whom a Prince once took a lking to. Recognising the author's works, the King granted them stewardship.

Location - Meadwell
Coat of Arms - A grey owl upon a field of purple and yellow divided parted per saltire
Origin - Great brewers of mead and ale started in Meadwell, and made a fortune as their business grew. This was recognised by the Royalty, who then gave lands and governance over to the Mowbray family.

Coat of Arms - A black sword placed upon a field of orange, with a black square to the top-left
Origin - A great hero of the Halflings who fought against a Gnoll uprising. Dundas is the only Noble House to be granted to Halflings.
