Brook's Crossing
Found about halfway down the Stone Beck River, Brook's Crossing is a wide bridge that connects the eastern and western parts of the Dalarn Lowlands. The bridge has been in existance since the early days of the Kingdom, and was originally designed and built by Lothar Brook, a Dwarf that lived in the area. It was originally manned by Lothar and a toll was to be paid for using the Bridge.
The bridge itself has been destroyed and rebuilt several times. The most notable of these was in the year 546 AF, when a great storm flooded the River it crosses. In present day, maintenance of the bridge falls upon the House of Weston, who govern the land to the west of Stone Beck River.
The Riverside Inn can be found on the eastern side of Brook's Crossing, and was a staple stopping place for many travellers over the years. Unfortunately, the Inn had to close a number of years ago after losing much of its trade. With the increased trading found in Port Towns further north, such as Lighthaven, there has been fewer reasons for travellers to take the route across the Dalarn Lowlands, and thus the Inn was no longer financially viable.
