Session 35 - The Riverside Inn

The party stays the night at the Riverside Inn. However, in the morning, a few of the party lack any memories from the past month. With a degree of confusion, they all head downstairs, only to see all the patrons from the night before are all sat in the same place. When the group tries to leave, they are attacked!#

A fight breaks out, but the heroes are soon victorious. They notice some strange tentacles linking to the backs of the other patrons, all coming from the cracsk in the floor, leading to the cellar below. A brief investigation of the Inn finds the other rooms all abandoned, and the traitorous Priest, Gerald Whitely, is found dead in one of the rooms.

The group head down to the cellar and find a mass of red, pulsating slime, tentacles coming off of it in to copies of Brenlazar, Dorax and Zan. The creature is an Elder Oblex, who attacks the party! The creature is eventually slain, and the party leaves and prepares to set out on the next leg of their journey. Dorax decides to join them, seeking adventure himself.
