Oakfield
Close to both Southdale and Tergaron is a small vilalge by the name of Oakfield. Made up of a few buildings, the village is mainly a farming settlement, its populace all tending to the land to raise crops. Stephal Forest lies to its north, and has been previously used as a source of lumber, although this trade has fallen off in recent years.
An unemarkable location, there is very little in the way of infrastructure in Oakfield. A small shrine in the village square is used for religious services, and a well can also be found here. The villagers tend to rely on travel to Tergaron for any other goods they need.
Recent Events
In the year 986 AF, a plague broke out in the region around Tergaron known as "The Black Smile". It is said that the orgigins of this plague started in Oakfield. Due to the mortality rate and nature of the plague, the residents of Oakfield were all killed. Oakfield now lies abandoned, its houses succumbing to bandits and raiders and its crops left untended.

As Tergaron is not owned by one of the Noble Houses of the Dalarn Lowlands, Oakfield falls under the Estate of the House of Rivers. A portion of the villages' crops is given over to the Noble House in return for being allowed to live on the land and use it for farming.
