Finolia is an Velan who is one of Baldrik's company. Sometimes his second-in-command, sometimes simply a core member of his group, she is heavily scarred and harbors animosity against the Flagellants and the Church of the Unsung God, though she tends to be sympathetic toward the Halori Empire's soldiers that she encounters.
Hailing from Halor, little is known about her origin. Some say that she was a Flagellant before being branded a heretic, and as a result of those events bears a grudge against her former fellows.
She is a model Velan with their characteristic grace and agility. She is suspected to be a sorcerer, but has served as a great infiltrator and fighter for Baldrik's band.
Tall, angular, and cold like her kind, Finolia keeps her distance from people. While her scars have been fading with time, she still remembers whatever incident led to her exile in Iphelon, and she trusts very few people. All the same, she has a personal magnetism to her, something that draws people in. It is clear that before she got her scars and was branded as a heretic that she would have been considered beautiful by mortal standards.
She wears light leather armor and carries a bladed staff at all times.
