Iphelon

The Church of the Unsung God created Iphelon as a place to send exiles and heretics who threatened their cult.
Although many of the inhabitants of Iphelon are far removed from the original prisoners, life on the island is difficult and often short. Those sent to the prison are often dangerous and mad. Ironically, most of the people here survive only by swearing allegiance to a New God, powering them with devotion and sacrifice. Most of these gods would offend the Church of the Unsung God, which has slowly begun to realize that Iphelon has become a bastion of worship for forbidden deities.
The worst part of this is that many of these deities have begun creating Grotesques to worship them, driving themselves to madness in the pursuit of power.
