Baldrik

Baldrik is a Man of Iphelon who is the leader of a band that have been attacking Port Arrival to try to secure transport to the mainland of Halor. Tall, bald, and heavily scarred, he is an imposing figure, but those who follow him give accounts of a generous and gentle man who is haunted by the things he has seen and motivated by a desire for fairness and freedom.
Baldrik has risen to a position of leadership within his band because he is a powerful Occultist, drawing on the raw magical power of the world to turn his enemies' efforts against them. However, as his band grows larger–a necessity to even dream of challenging the Halori Empire's presence on Iphelon–his ability to protect them is waning and he has a hard time keeping them all focused.
To make up for this, he has been splitting the raiders into cells, with each cell of a dozen or so people attacking the Halori independently, and him providing magical support. While this is powerful, it is placing a heavy strain on Baldrik, who is beginning to show his age and bear the costs of his magic.
