Antoinette Alariel is the Mayor of Lower Peaks, and has been such for a little over 12 years. Calm and collected, Mayor Alariel is ever the voice of reason, and her easy charisma allows her to command a room effortlessly. Under her guidance Lower Peak has almost doubled in size from a rustic village, to a major layover for travellers headed into the sandy north.
Prior to beginning her career in local politics, Mayor Alariel studied for a time under Arch-Wizard Jildor, and gained some skill in the arcane arts. It is her stated ambition to continue her studies when her career allows.
