The Sirasion Wardroid Divisions
Wardroids are a staple in the Sirasion battleforce, coming in many shapes and sizes and fill out a multitude of roles. Sirasion wardroids are insectoid in appearance and in their movements, often characterized by their sharpened protosteel blades instead of feet that they can and often do use as melee weapons against other vehicles and soldiers. The chassis of wardroids are often small and based around a singular power core thats shielded by armour plates and the legs of the droid itself, and im some cases a powerful force field.
The first of these wardroid designs was the spider droid, the original prototype having crashed on Siran from planet earth, the technology within it was nothing the sirasions had ever seen before, and while they were capable of short range faster than light travel already, the spiderdroid worked in ways beyond their understanding at the time. however, the sirasions didn't have time to waste as the Rekhton fleets closed in on their world, they reversed engineered the spiderdroid using their own materials to mass produce them. the Rekhton fleets were no match for the new sirasion weapon and were Siran was saved.
After it was found out that human created the wardroids prototype, an effort was made to locate him so he could be crowned the new emperor and saviour of the Sirasions, ofcourse not all were in agreement with these ideas and it was only due to one radical group who called themselves The Watchers that this whole idea was saw through. regardless of protest, the new emperor was found and crowned under the name Zurrok, meaning creator in Sirasion. while at first the population despised a human as the emperor, Zurrok quickly won over the hearts and minds of the people with his intelligence and new ideas. including more wardroid designs.
soon enough more wardroid designs were created by Zurrok, this time using Sirasion technology as a basis, and thus the wardroid force that the galaxy now respect and fears came to be.
Composition
Manpower
The Sirasion Wardroid corps are, when fielded, a completely autonomous force, able to communicate with one another in the same way the regular soldier can, except at ten times the speed and efficiency. The number of wardroids fielded across the galaxy is uncountable, as well as the exact numbers being kept strictly classified by the Sirasion Empire. Though it is estimated that [PLACEHOLDER] droid refinery produce up to one thousand spiderdroids per day, and this is just one of the hundreds of factories producing droids for the Sirasion war machine.
Weaponry
Weaponry of Sirasion wardroids is some of the most potent in the imperial arsenal. Weapons such as the Warscythe's main gun, nicknamed the 'solar punisher' by imperial troops, is designed to eradicate heavily armored tanks and other mechanized foes. it's weapon burning so hot for a brief second reaching the temperature of a burning star. Other weapons such as the Spiderdroid's twin pulse battery are capable, at full power, of decimating an entire settlement in a single blast. Wardroids are also the platform for many unconventional weapons designed to specifically cripple enemy morale, the firefly droid comes equipped with a devastating flamethrower that can lay waste to entire enemy battalions in a single pass.

Structure
All wardroids are hooked up to a central mainframe called the Wardroid network. it is how wardroids communicate and fight as effectively as they do. In the Great Uprising, the wardroid network started as a singular mainframe based on Siran, beamed around the galaxy via the general communication posts. This however proved flawed as more often than not, rebel hackers were able to jam communications, which included parts of the wardroid network. They also managed to hack into the central mainframe on Siran and completely disable the wardroid network for long enough it turned the tide of the war in their favour.
The Sirasions learned from their fatal mistake, and now the wardroid network is carried by its own dedicated stations placed throughout imperial space. With advances in wardroid technology, wardroids now are capable of forming their own sub-networks specific to a single campaign, aswell as communicate locally in the same manner as battlefield infantry. the actual mainframe on Siran as it stands now is only an artery of the vast network that helps run the Wardroid units, even should it be destroyed entirely, any of the dozens of dedicated stations can take over temporarily until it is restored.
Tactics
Sirasion Wardroids are highly adaptable, every droid feeding everything it, as an individual has learned into the central wardroid network, which every other wardroid on said network has access to. With a wardroid's ability to calculate thousands of outcomes all in the matter of a nanosecond, in this time it runs the situation in comparison to millions of others experienced by other droids to determine the most effective means of success. This ability means that if an enemy is deploying a new type of unit or altering their battle tactics, the upper hand is usually lost in minutes as all the wardroids around the galaxy simultaneously compare notes and collectively create a solution.
Due to this fast learning network however, wardroids must be scanned often for anomalies in their programming due to the risk of potential sentience.
Logistics
Upkeep
The Wardroid force is vast in number, comprised of thousands upon thousands of incredibly complex war machines designed to battle tirelessly and without relent, sometimes entire campaigns are fought using wardroids, and for this reason keeping them all in tip top shape is essential. Imperial mechanics often train specially to maintain wardroids, sometimes even specializing to one model, with some droids requiring more or less maintenance crew. the relatively small Stinger and Firefly droids for example are easily maintainable by one or two engineers. However more complex designs such as the Mantis droid may required a full team of five to six.
Automated systems for keeping wardroids functional however do exist and work extremely effectively. mobile repair platforms equipped with maintenance lasers and an array of other tools are common place in imperial base camps, these help to repair external damage inflicted by smalls arms and explosives, but for the smaller, more complex systems, teams of wardroid nanobots, or simply nicknamed 'Biters' by imperial troops, are capable of repairing such things. The term 'Biters' stemming from that they act just like the microscopic nanobots that course around many Imperial Sirasion's blood streams, repairing internal damage and warding off any threat to the body. This sometimes including imperial mechanics who had forgotten to issue a disable command.
These small droids are about the size of ones palm, equipped with all the tools for maintenance and defense of a wardroid's chassis. They can often be seen skittering between cracks in the droids armour, otherwise they remain tucked away in small compartments across the droid's exterior.
An Unfortunate Decision
There was one instance that became one of the first times these droids were used for defense of their wardroid host in combat, this happened when Skaronian fighter Zivania attempted to clamber on top of a Firefly droid in an attempt to disable it. The maintenance droids perceived her as an immediate threat and began attacking the Skaronian, causing damage with their plasma welders and fabricator lasers.
