December 5, 764

The Blackiron Bandits face off with Brutus in the Amberton's field.
As it is winter they are surrounded by dead wheat that had been failed to be harvested, as Low Magic Crystals had been rationed to be used in tractors due to the war.
Brutus tells them he is here to stop them from hurting his family. He will avenge those who have already fallen, and kill them so they can't hurt the others.
The combat saw Brutus a former member of the White Orc Tribe, use his magical tattoos to summon spirits that would hinder his foes, and get in the way of damage. He also used many Low Magic Crystals to cast spells, increasing the damage of his great axe, teleporting around the field, and slowing down the Blackiron Bandits. After a long brawl and a member of the party going down, ultimately the bandits found themselves victorious.
Upon victory Zelroth released his minion he had summoned in a heartfelt goodbye. Leon asking the local wheat if they had seen anyone other than Brutus here, which they reposded with no, then in their final bit of life asked Leon to spread his seed as he was to die. Leon agreed and gave the seed to Joseph Wheatgrain who estatically agreed to do so.
The party then spoke with dead with Brutus and asked questions. They did not get far, as he said he was there to kill them and stop them from hurting his family. He didn't disclose anything else other than that nobody would stop Shomei Tamashi or Satori Tamashi.
The party then headed back to Wheatgrove where they told of their victory against brutus to Captain James and they rested for the night.

December 6, 764

The party awakes and talked with some people located in their inn. They let the party know that nobody here in their right mind would go looking for The Exiled Outlaws. They then are summoned by Private Stephan to meet with Captain James. He informs them that the trail has been dry. However, he has a backwater friend, Donald Puckett who says that there is a group of The Exiled Outlaws sympathizers in a town called Spitwater in The Shadowed Canyons. He believes if they have any place to rest after a massive journey, this would be it. However he acknowledges that it is just speculation and to keep tabs with Frontiersmen outposts if any new information comes.
The Blackiron Bandits agree and disbark on the train in which they found Mágos. Donald Puckett joins them and they discuss their plans for when they reach Spitwater.

December 7, 764

The Blackiron Bandits and Donald Puckett ride on the train for a full day into the night and see the farmland go to sandy desert.

December 8, 764

They continue riding on the train as the sandy desert becomes hard red clay and canyons. Around high noon they arrive at Spitwater and disembark.
