Vesh
The gods of evil are all terrible in their own way, such as burned Lesav and her desire to murder the Twin Worlds, or brutal Golath who spills the blood of the innocent with impunity. There is one, however, that is a vision of beauty. This is seductive Vesh, goddess of ambition and murder and mistress of the dreaded Nameless Order.
Divine Domains
As a subtle goddess, the vast majority of Vesh's priests are granted the powers of the trickery domain. Many use such gifts as assassins. Some few instead choose the dread powers of the death domain, using their propensity for murder to create unquestioning servants for themselves.
The Nameless Order is also said to have access to strange process meant to reshape the flesh of the recipient. This process-- believed to be similar to that used by Velsarra Til'vere-- is said to have been taught by the goddess so that her servants would be the most beautiful of all the gods'.
Divine Realm
Vesh's realm is among the Fourfold Furnaces of Gehenna. Specifically this domain is on the fourth layer, the cold peak of Krangath. This realm, Cupio, exists on an island on the River Styx not far from the base of the vast, dead peak. In contrast to the bitter cold that permeates this layer, Cupio is to all appearances a paradise. The day is just as dark as the rest of the layer, but floating lights dance along beautifully, seemingly providing light, but also creating unsteady shadows for an enemy to hide. The environment is lively, with lovely trees, beautifully singing birds, and intoxicating flowers. This place is also home to succulent fruits that grow freely and crisp, clear water. It is said that the entire realm is fed by the River Styx, and that those who eat its foods and drink its waters will slowly lose themselves, so that they might be remade as Vesh's servants. Plenty of people call Cupio home, petitioners and living mortals alike. They live in idyllic towns that seem peaceful of the surface, but are actually quagmires of intrigue and infighting. The largest is the capital, known as Flutterheart. This is a large city of colorful domes, and delicate spires. It is dominated by Vesh's palace, an unspeakably luxurious structure, where all within are enslaved by the goddess.Artifacts
Vesh is the only master of the dreaded weapon known as Godslayer. This blade is the instrument of murder that has slain the god Colrum, and is still stained with his divine blood. True to Vesh's nature, this weapon is a dagger, specifically a beautiful stiletto.
The powers of this weapon are quite varied. It is said that its edge brings pleasure instead of pain, to the point that those who feel its sting can even become addicted to it. It is also stated that its wielder can become hidden from all sight at will. It is said the wielder's heart becomes steel, cold and unfeeling, capable of seeing others based on utility alone.
Divine Symbols & Sigils
The unholy symbol of Vesh is that of a pair of feminine lips, with a blade across them, as if in a gesture of silence. It symbolizes two aspects of the goddess's being, both the assassin and the seductress.
Tenets of Faith
Suitably enough for her position in the pantheon, the primary demand Vesh makes of her followers is ambition. Her faith calls for her followers to advance their own position, using any assets they can. She calls for battle from the strong, deceit from the clever, and seduction from the beautiful.
The most sacred act in Veshan worship is, of course, murder. The goddess calls for the efficient elimination of her worshippers' enemies, which are often offered to the goddess. Vesh serves as the patron goddess of assassins for exactly this reason.
The very nature of Veshan worship calls for discretion, as the goddess is vilified by polite society. This shadowy worship often brings them into conflict with the similarly discrete Shadow Cathedral serving Nightshade, god of stealth and subterfuge. Some Veshans consider finding and killing a Nightshader priest to be a rite of passage.
Physical Description
Body Features
Just like the likes of Eariden or Dilesseye, Vesh is a creature of utter feminine beauty. Typically, she manifests as a voluptuous, pale-skinned woman with wavy black hair and hypnotic red eyes. It is said that her beauty can destroy mortal hearts, turning any who lay eyes on her into her adoring slave for all eternity.
She typically dresses in imperious, but extremely revealing attire, and carries a dagger she uses to dispatch those who displease her. She is always surrounded by a procession of servants, attractive mortals to serve and adore her. These "pets" and "playthings" are valued only for how they might please their mistress.

Personal history
As with the rest of the Twin Worlds Pantheon, Vesh was created by the Great Divine from the primordial nothing that predated the creation of the Twin Worlds. He declared that the newly-created Worlds would be theirs, and bade them all choose an aspect of existence to serve as its master.
Vesh wanted so much more. She wanted all of existence for herself, but she simply didn't have the power to claim it for her own. Instead, she declared herself the goddess of ambition. Since that time, she watched and waited, longing to claim all that she felt was her birthright.
She was torn at first, feeling that weaker gods such as Eshall, god of the hunt, or Dilesseye, goddess of pleasure would be easier targets to steal their power, however a greater opportunity opened up. Colrum, the god of duty and loyalty, was a far better target. Officially, he was the partron god of nobles, but many secretly prayed dark prayers to Vesh, instead.
She used these profane prayers to create a weapon of terrible power, Godslayer, a dagger with the darkest of purposes: to slay a god and steal his power for her very own. This was only the first step on the road to one day overthrow the Great Divine, himself and become the goddess of all the Twin Worlds.
What happened next varies from version to version. Veshans claim that the goddess seduced Colrum and slew him in his bed. Colrumites, however, claim that Vesh claimed Godslayer would be turned against the Great Divine, himself, and Colrum sacrificed himself willingly. In all versions, Colrum dies, becoming the only god save for the once-mortal Ilovar to do so.
The Great Divine, however, refused to allow one of the gods to be killed in such a manner. Instead, he breathed life into him again. Curiously, Vesh was never punished for this transgression. Instead, she claimed the role of the goddess of murder.
