Ilovar
Death comes for all mortal beings. It is the one thing everyone has in common, regardless of race, talent, or social standing. For a force this monumental in the totality of existence, it only makes sense that it would have its own god-- a warden to watch over its application. This god is Ilovar, the god of all mortals.
Divine Domains
In contrast to priests of Lesav, whose magic is based on wielding the powers of Death, the clerics of Ilovar use the power of the Grave. This is central to their duties in fighting those who defy the natural order of life and death and healing those whose time is not yet up.
Divine Realm
It has been suggested that Ilovar doesn't truly have a realm, like other gods of the multiverse. However, that is not strictly accurate. Upon their deaths, the god of death meets every mortal person in a cozy study by a crackling fire in the fireplace. In addition, there is a table and two chairs. The deceased meets with Ilovar sitting at the table with two of that person's favorite drink. This realm has no name and exists only as that single room, repeated potentially infinitely for everyone who has died. Planar scholars in the know have been debating exactly where this realm exists. The primary place suspected is the Astral Plane due to its connection with all Outer Planes. However, the lack of any extradimensional spaces and lack of any sightings by astral travelers makes this unlikely.Divine Symbols & Sigils
Ilovar's divine seal is a closed eye housed within a diamond. It symbolizes the peaceful rest waiting beyond the veil of death.
Tenets of Faith
The worshipers of Ilovar are devoted primarily in ensuring that the dead rest peacefully. As such, they are dedicated to fighting the undead, and seeing to it that those who linger of their own will pass on to the other side.
They also seek to make sure that the dying pass in peace and comfort. This is so that others understand that death is not something to fear, but a natural part of life.
Physical Description
Body Features
Most members of the Twin Worlds Pantheon rarely appear before mortals. Ilovar, by his very nature, is an exception. He appears to all who die, even when they are raised from the dead. In those cases, he offers them a choice to return to the living world or move on to their afterlife.
During these visions-- and the occasional near death experience-- he appears much as he did during his mortal life, a handsome man with commanding, regal features. He dresses in blood-red finery tried with gold.

Personal history
Originally, the Ilovar's role belonged to another: the goddess Lesav, the sister of Selai. They were goddesses of death and war, so close they almost acted as one. This was, until Selai fell in love with a mortal warrior. Feeling abandoned, Lesav became obsessed with murdering the Twin Worlds, themselves.
To punish the wayward Lesav, the Great Divine set fire to her, burning away part of her divinity and leaving her nothing more than a husk of her former self. She became a goddess of vengeance and undeath-- a mockery of the duty that was once the very core of her being.
Still, her former duties still needed to be done. Thus, a new god of death was required. At that time, a mortal judge was killed for giving an honest ruling despite facing certain death. For his integrity, the Great Divine granted him rulership over death, itself.
Since that time, the Order of Eternal Repose has been a fixture in the Twin Worlds, and all who have died have been greeted kindly and professionally by Ilovar, himself.
