Eariden
Emotion can be a powerful thing, and few more so than love. It stands to reason that such a powerful force would have a deity overseeing it. This is Eariden, goddess of love, and one of the most widely worshipped deities in the Twin Worlds.
Divine Domains
The priests of all of the Trinity of Song are similar in that they tend to prefer the Life and Light domains. Eariden's priests especially favor the Life domain due to its emphasis on healing, as well as the Peace domain. Their vows make the use of any other powers difficult.
Divine Realm
In the grandeur of the mountains of Arborea lies Heartsfire, a realm shared with Bellesmin and Dilesseye. Fittingly for these gods, this realm is a beautiful, joyous place made for artists, lovers, and those who enjoy all life has to offer. Gentle, warm snows often fall over unearthly grand vistas. In the core of the the realm of Heartsfire is a great city, also named Heartsfire, and also belonging to all three of the Trinity of Song. The only place that is distinctly hers is the Palace of the Fluttering Heart. Unlike the other palaces, this one is the only one that is not open to the public. Specifically, the Palace of the Fluttering Heart is only open to Eariden and the mortal she loves. The goddess is frequently seen walking the streets. Often, she falls deeply in love with a mortal or petitioner and remains faithful to them until they die or pass on.Divine Symbols & Sigils
The holy symbol of Eariden is very simple, two doves with their beaks touching, as if kissing. Appropriately enough, doves in general are sacred to the worship of Eariden. Temples of the goddess frequently have populations of doves living just outside to honor her.
Tenets of Faith
The most sacred duties to the priesthood of Eariden are the guidance and protection of lovers. To that end, they provide advice and comfort to those struggling with loss and loneliness. They also provide sanctuary to those lovers who might be fleeing disapproving parents, or even potentially spouses.
These priests take strict vows of pacifism. They are simply not allowed to kill any being capable of feeling romantic love. As such, very, very few choose to take up the adventuring profession without first converting, as Lily Steelaxe (a companion of Eldain Mal'atre) did when she converted to the worship of Selai so she could keep her future husband, Kagmar safe.
Since Eariden is a goddess of love, her priests perform more weddings than those of any other god. In particular, they will marry anyone who love each other, regardless of the laws and customs of the land. Conversely, they will refuse to perform weddings for any other reason than love, such as political marriages.
Physical Description
Body Features
Few of the Twin Worlds Pantheon have one definitive appearance. The only exception to this is Ilovar, who was once human. Since the gods are worshipped by members of every race, they occasionally take forms similar to those of their worshippers.
Eariden is different. She and Bellesmin differ their appearance based on the person viewing them. Eariden, in particular always appears in that person's ideal version of the feminine form. The only consistent feature is her bright green eyes, which always have a look of perfect tenderness. Statues of her are practically always of the race of the population of the area her temple is built in.

Personal history
It is said that at the beginning of time, the Great Divine created all the gods from the nothing that surrounded him. Then, when they were all created, he promised to divide all that is, was, and will ever be between them. All chose their own domains quickly and easily. All except three.
There were three who desired rulership over love. These were Eariden, Bellesmin, and Dilesseye. They argued more and more over which deserved love, and none wanted to give it up. The other gods expected there would be violence among them before the Twin Worlds they were designing could even be created.
These three, however, were gentle souls and didn't want such a thing. Instead, they agreed to a contest. Each one would sing a song before the other gods and they would all decide for themselves who among them would become the god of love.
Each performance was so perfect not even the others among the gods could hope to match them, not even the beautiful and seductive Vesh. The vote was near impossible, but Eariden was deemed the winner. She became the goddess of love while Bellesmin became the god of beauty, and Dilesseye became the goddess of pleasure.
Despite the trouble that came with their divine portfolios, the three bear one another no ill will. In fact, they became very close as if they were siblings. They were closer, even, than Estae and Theane, who were born of the same essence. Together they are known as the Trinity of Song.
