Bellesmin
There are few aspects of life that are valued by everyone on some level. Beauty is such a one. However, few agree on what beauty actually means, but such things matter very little to Bellesmin, the god of beauty. He embodies beauty in all things and for all people.
Divine Domains
As with his fellows in the Trinity of Song, most of his clerics are of the Life and Light domains. In particular, most choose Light and many serve as protectors of beautiful places from those who would harm them. A rare few who do this for natural places even choose the Nature domain.
Divine Realm
All the gods of the Trinity of Song share one realm. This is Heartsfire, on the plane of Arborea. This is a realm in unnaturally tall and majestic mountains common on that plane. In the middle of the realm, overlooking the glorious mountains is the city, also called Heartsfire. Snowfall is common throughout the realm, and falls soft and warm. The city of Heartsfire belongs to all three of the Trinity. The only place that belongs specifically to Bellesmin is the Palace of the Majestic Eye. Suitably enough, this palace is the most beautiful of the three, seemingly made of shining stained glass of every color and displaying the most sublime artwork. Bellesmin, himself is most often not found in his palace. Instead, he spends most of his time on the streets of Heartsfire, either appraising the art of others or looking for something to inspire his own next masterpiece.Divine Symbols & Sigils
As befits his role as a patron of artists, Bellesmin's holy symbol depicts a paintbrush with a paint stroke trailing behind it. Sometimes, this streak is shown coming from something else, such as trees, buildings, or a face.
Tenets of Faith
As a god of beauty, nothing is more important to his priesthood than the protection of the beauty of the world. To this end, many followers protect beautiful places, and make sure the places they live stay clean and pleasant, whether this place is a secluded glade or a massive metropolis.
Another important role the faith of Bellesmin plays is in the creation of beauty. As such, the god serves as the patron god of artists of all kinds. Many artists give him thanks for their gifts, and his priests are required to encourage artistic talent wherever they find it.
Physical Description
Body Features
Due to the universal nature of the Twin Worlds Pantheon, there is some variation of the depictions of the various gods. Still, there are usually trends that form. Dilesseye is usually depicted as an elf, and Selai is usually depicted as a human, and even when they do appear as other races, they have a general way they always look.
Bellesmen and Eariden are exceptions to this general rule. Bellesmen in particular always bears the appearance of that particular person's example of perfect masculine beauty. The only traits that remain constant are his shining gold eyes and sly smile.
As a patron god of artists, he is frequently depicted in artwork of all kinds. Then, he is almost always depicted as the same race as the creator, or that area's dominant culture. Thus his statue in a temple in Veille might appear elven while one in a Whiteriver temple might look human, instead. The only consistent feature is that he is always depicted as male, except in Arithasia, which depicts all the gods of the Twin Worlds as female.

Personal history
According to myth, the gods chose their divine portfolios right after they were all created by the Great Divine. Most fell into very simple roles as if specifically created to embody them. There was one role, though, that was an exception to this: that of the god of love.
There were three gods that wanted rulership over love: Eariden, Dilesseye, and Bellesmin, himself. Between them, they decided the matter would be decided by a contest. After a great deal of debate, it was determined they would sing for the role, and the other gods would collectively choose a winner.
Each sang with such beauty that even pitiless Lesav was moved to tears. The vote for the winner was difficult, and the results were close, but in the end Eariden won and was thus named by the Great Divine to be the goddess of love forevermore.
The others still needed domains of their own, however and since both wanted love for their own they wanted to be as close to it as they could. This lead to a debate between them. Dilesseye claimed that love came from pleasure, while Bellesmin insisted it grew from beauty. And so Dilesseye became the goddess of pleasure while Bellesmin took his place as the god of beauty.
Despite the competition between the three, they all have a very close relationship. They consider one another kin, as if they were created together in the manner of Estae and Theane, or Lesav and Selai. This is how the Trinity of Song was born.
