Copperclaw's Home
Copperclaw's Home is a small outpost located in The Surewild region, home to Durza "Copperclaw" and his family.
History
This modest home - larger than a hut, smaller than a house - was built over a decade ago by Durza and his mate. It consists of a single large central room with a fire pit in the centre, and a packed earth cellar under a trap door. Two small extensions have been added since its original construction; side rooms serving as the bedrooms for their four children. Since Durza's retirement, it has become an unofficial way stop and trading post for travelers moving through the area.
NPCs
- Durza - Lv6 Gnoll Merchant
- Priam - Lv4 Gnoll Midwife
- Dargo - Lv4 Gnoll Warrior
- Mirri - Lv1 Young Gnoll Apprentice
- Toben - Lv1 Young Gnoll Thief
- Shan - Lv1 Young Gnoll Sorcerer
Services
- Durza still provides services as a merchant. Any non-magical item worth less than 1gp is available, though Durza will take 1d10 minutes searching his home and cellar for each item (or bulk of items). Anything over 1gp in value is not certain to be in stock, though his inventory will reset every week. Any time Durza is not at home, his daughter Mirri fills in for him.
- Priam can provide non-magical healing services. She will not charge for them, though will take any payment or donations offered.
- Dargo is available as a hireling.
- The yard outside the building is available for rent as a camping site, at the cost of 1sp per night per person.
Notable Items
Bandit's Bane remains mounted on the wall in the main room.
Maenad's Charity is usually kept on Shan's person, though she sometimes leaves it in her room.
Durza keeps a pair of wading boots, plus full fishing tackle and a fishing net, resting in a sack by the main door; plus a masterwork battleaxe leaning against the wall beside it.
The two lamps on the walls of the main room of the house are everburning torches under bulbs of smoked glass.
A Restful Birch Bonsai rests in a painted terracotta pot in Priam's work space, with a jar beside it of bark shavings.
