Shan
Shan is a female gnoll, the daughter of Durza and Priam, younger sister of Dargo, and triplet sister of Toben and Mirri. She lives with her family at Copperclaw's Home.
Though she comes home every evening to sleep, Shan leaves Copperclaw's Home early most every day, and spends most of her time roaming the forest on her own, so she's rarely seen by visitors compared to her siblings. In spite of worrying her family, she never seems to get lost or hurt on these rambles.
It's unclear when her powers first manifested, but she has somehow managed to keep them a secret from her family so far.
Physical Appearance
Shan is a small gnoll girl, with muddy-brown fur and verdant green eyes. She wears simple gray linen shorts, a green silk tunic that comes to mid-thigh, braided leather belt, and soft leather foot wraps. Her fur is often unkempt, and her hands and feet are almost always muddy. When out on her rambles in the woods, she wears flowing cloth streamers over her tunic that trail behind her in red, yellow, orange, and brown, like autumn leaves.

RACIAL TRAITS
Xenophobic: Gnolls start knowing their racial language only.
Natural Armour: Gnoll hides are remarkably tough, granting them a +2 natural armor bonus.
Darkvision (60 feet): A Gnoll can see in the dark (black and white vision only).
TRAITS AND DRAWBACKS
Child of Nature: Shan gains a +2 trait bonus on Survival checks to find food and water, and a +1 trait bonus on Knowledge (nature) checks. Survival is always a class skill for her.
Young: Shan is considered small size, takes a -2 penalty to Str, Con, and Wis, and gains a +2 bonus to Dex.
CLASS FEATURES
Weapon and Armour Proficiency: Shan is proficient with all simple weapons.
Class Skills: Shan's class skills are Appraise, Bluff, Craft, Fly, Intimidate, Knowledge (arcana), Knowledge (nature), Profession, Spellcraft, Survival, and Use Magic Device.
Bloodline Arcana: Whenever Shan casts a spell of the compulsion subschool, increase the spell’s DC by +2.
Laughing Touch: Shan can cause a creature to burst out laughing for 1 round as a melee touch attack. A laughing creature can only take a move action but can defend itself normally. Once a creature has been affected by laughing touch, it is immune to its effects for 24 hours. Shan can use this ability 5 times per day. This is a mind-affecting effect.
FEATS
Eschew Materials: Shan can cast any spell with a material component costing 1gp or less without needing that component.
Nature Magic: Shan gains Know Direction as a constant spell-like ability, and can choose another druid orison to cast as a spell-like ability once per day. Her caster level for both of these spell-like abilities is equal to her character level.
