The Surewild

The Surewild is a region of heavy evergreen and deciduous forest located in Stein's Brook, longer than it is wide, sandwiched between mountains on its northern and southern edges. At its heart lies a large freshwater lake, roughly forty miles in circumference, and ten miles across from east to west. This lake is fed by streams from the surrounding mountains, converging in the Quickwater flowing from the north, and the Slowwater flowing from the south-east.

The region is properly named the "Schwarzwald," the Black Forest, but locals eventually bastardised the name to "Surewild," and it has since stuck.
