Tyndareus

Tyndareus is to Aerope, what The Slice of Aphrodite is to Aeolus City, the red lights district where Coalition citizens goes to carry out their Age of Consent Ritual. Like the Slice, Tyndareus is created to make Catamites want to come back there and continue doing their thing even after the ritual, usually through the rest of their adolescence, though they're not actually required by law to do it more than that one time.
The neighborhood of Tyndareus is right by the ocean on the west side of the city, in what once was the city docks. It's centered around a large harbor basin surrounded by warehouses and industrial buildings that have been converted to residences, bars, restaurants, saunas, bathhouses, hotels that charge by the hour, and outright brothels. The water in the basin may have once been polluted but has long since become so clean that people can swim and bathe in it. You probably shouldn't drink it, though.
The harbor basin is also the west side end of the canal that leads through the city, across the isthmus the city sits on, to the other side.
