Multiple Pod Cloning Machine

This model is primarily used by the Trident Coalition Armed Forces and is being introduced on all major ships of the Trident Coalition Space Fleet. It consists of one control unit, that stores the DNA templates, and Core Dump units, and regulates all the pods. The cloning pods are a little over two meters long, 80 centimeters wide and fifty centimeters high, and stacked on top of each other and side by side, usually with ladders between the vertical rows of pods, so the fresh clones can climb down to the deck. The pods open by sliding the bed out from the head end, making it double the length as when it’s closed. The cloning machines are installed in a compartment adjacent to the infirmary aboard the ships.
While the Trident Coalition Space Fleet and the Trident Coalition Marine Corps have both experimented in mass production of cloned soldiers, the main purpose of the Cloning machines on the ship is to be able to reproduce any member of the crew, or marines, in the event of their death and thus eliminate the main problem in war, and not have to draft or conscript new troops. In the event of the destruction of a ship, a small probe can theoretically be sent home through a fold in space, where the probe contains the DNA templates and memories of the entire compliment of the ship, in addition to the black box flight recorder. This would mean that only the ship is lost, but not the people.
