Spaceman Apprentice Gregor Laszlo

Gregor was created by an officer in the Coalition Military Intelligence, by branching him off of Viktor Laszlo without permission.

Branching off means taking someone who is a clone and make another clone of them, so that there’s two of them, with the same memories up to the branching off moment.

Viktor’s reputation as a homicidal, almost unstoppable force, preceded him, and an unscrupulous Military Intelligence Officer thought that could be useful.

During a firefight aboard Procrustes one night In Aeolus City Space Port, Victor stabbed the wrong person, fifteen year old Nick Tyler killing him. In response Viktor was shot to death. When it was all over Military Intelligence took both bodies for the Armed Forces Cloning Program, code named Core Dump.

Gregor turned out to be less homicidal than his pod brother, and decided to go by the middle name Gregor, to set himself apart from Viktor.
