Delta 8497 Prototype Rifle

In the summer of 2939 SE the Trident Coalition Armed Forces turned to the Clear Corporation for new weapons for their troops. The Clear Negotiator was developed to be the new standard issue sidearm and they also got to work on a new plasma rifle.

The rifle was delayed because Jeremiah Clear kept insisting that the rifle should have the same “Hairdryer” setting as the Negotiator, even though the R&D team repeatedly explained how asinine it was to have such a setting on a lethal weapon. Daffodil Armaments bought the Clear Corporation before the matter was settled and the rifle never went into production. The Military bought plasma weapons from Daffodil Armaments instead.
