Dark Spirits are darker creatures that care little for all living things. Unlike other types of Spirits, they desire to harm the living in any way they can if they enter their domains. Often wandering around these places seeking to free themselves from the inability to pass on from the world and despise all those who can.

Anatomy

Spirits are often astral being that have no true from, but they are often seen a beings with humanoid bodies or shapeless forms existing beyond the physical realm with few this being able to touch them.

Biological Traits

Otherworldly: These creatures do not follow the laws of the physical world as they are not naturally part of it. They do not require the basic needs that creatures that naturally exist in this world do, such as eating and sleeping, and have powers that are beyond the reach of mortal beings and can be hostile to them.
Twisted Nature: These creatures do not understand right and wrong and only wish to satisfy their dark desires. Often doing whatever they want without thinking of the harm they are causing or the consequences of their actions.
Divine Weakness: These creatures have a weakness to the power of deities that have more power over them and magic that can harm them. This means through theses power they can be destroyed or simply cahnced away to ensure that they do not cause harm to anyone. This alos means they cannot enter places that have been bless by a god or have magic wards that are designed to keep them from entering.

Dark Spirits are never born; they are the product of Dark Magic, and troubling events that are what create them, and only through these can they be made.

Over time certain Dark Spirits can become more powerful by taking the lives of the living or gaining hold of some powerful objects. But time can also lead them to become more corrupted and twisted depending on their nature.

Dark Spirits can make their how anywhere they desire, often in places long since abandoned, such as ruins and tombs in any type of environment that is found without suffering the consequences.

While not required to eat, certain Dark Spirits have been known to drain the life force of living beings and even their souls to fill an empty void within them despite never being satisfied.

Dark Spirits are considered highly dangerous to all living things as they only wish to harm them. When not trying to kill them, they often cause a Possessions upon a person to try and bring torment or achieve a desire that they crave. Luckily they will not leave the places they haunt as they are bound to them or simply prefer them. Nothing even good comes when a Dark Spirit is near and only those that are prepared to face should do so.

Dark Spirits are often the creation of those that use Dark Magic in order to achieve their goals. What this means is that those that can use it can control theses being to be used as slaves to do their dirty work. This will often result in Dark Spirits going out to do their masters bidding and cause trouble where ever they go and disposing of anyone that gets in their way in order to achieve it.
