Dark magic is a power that no one should have of its sinister nature to cause suffering all around them. Many who use it often only seek power for themselves at the expense of others. Even the slightest sign of someone using any form of it will often result in imprisonment or instant execution to avoid any future danger that may come with them. It even breaks the common principles of magic as well in regards to it serving others and only being used to bring betterment to all. There have been so many incidents both large and small when dark magic has only brought destruction wherever it goes. For it only takes and takes and never gives back that will never bring good to others at all. It is a curse on magic for it to even exist as its essence has even been stained by the mere presence of it. Often leaving scars that will never heal from places who experienced them first hand and the untold masses who perished as its hand when they were finally met with it.

One tends to wonder why something so twisted ever came into the world such as this form of magic, well it was not natural that is. Unlike most other magics that naturally came into the world, dark magic's origins came from many places either being created by mortals that corrupted magic or otherworldly beings wishing to gain power in the mortal realm through servants. Leading to certain individuals both being born with magic and without its to be granted dark power. Making the only form of magic that can be learned through studying the dark arts. It is not possible to be born with this type of magic unless it is under special circumstances. If it were it would possibly lead to more chaotic events once these children's magic manifested and the consequences that would come with them. All in all, anyone who has ever been tempted by the power that comes with this will often crave more of it and give up everything they hold dear to maintain or gain more of it. This magic will only take away anything good in a person and replace it with whatever corrupted ideas that may come with it.

Whatever power that may be given to those who use it the results will often lead to their doom in the end. While its power might be tempting it is only a tool to lead others astray for them to become tools to otherworldly forces. Even when given the power its will often lead to an insatiable desire to crave more of it. While many of these individuals have been known to band together to achieve their goals for power they will often destroy one another to ensure they do not share it. In their minds to share power is to breed rivalry and weakness as no one holds too much power. This has been the case of many as they are unable to stop their mad ventures to see the masses bend to their will, only to find themselves broken and defeated when their plans are lie in ruin.

Dark magic like all other magics follows thein laws, their laws of course often affect their users more than traditional magics. It is from the use of this magic that one thing is made clear, that its users are slaves to it. Often at the cost of their bodies and lives, the wielders of these magics will be unable to stop using them once they take hold as it will grab a hold of them and never let go. Leading their enviable destruction once it is finally reached, but there are ways to halt this process often at the cost of their very being. This can range from dooming themselves with internal torment after death to being altered into something else that is beyond that of a mortal being. It only exists to destroy all who use it in their never-ending pursuit to triumph overall in their search for endless power.

Blood Magic : A magic that is powered by the blood of all living things. Magic such as this can strengthen a user and those around them. Any form of blood can be used to power the magic as long as there is enough. Even the blood of the one who is casting it can be used to power it at the cost of their own body.
Shadow Magic: The power to control the shadow to subvert the light that creates it. It is an art of silence and deception to gain the upper hand on unsuspecting foes. But the magic itself has a far stronger connection to the darkness it controls, often leading to its users succumbing to it in the end. Turning them into creatures of darkness themselves.
Necromancy: The dead should never be brought back to life as their time in this world is over. But through this magic can be changed as it grants the power of undeath to the deceased. Though whatever existed in life no longer exists after death as their bodies are no more than empty shells. All of which are at the command of the one who resurrected them to obey their every wish. To those who use this magic, they believe they can conquer death itself and gain immortality.
Death Magic: An art that is specifically created to kill all living things. The magic that is used is often made to make those inflicted on it suffer and know pain. It can kill instantly or slowly put the result is always the same. Though death comes in many different forms making it often unpredictable to those who face it. But it is often easy to find as those who use it often have the stench of death that surrounds where ever they go. Though the magic itself is lethal to its users themselves as it after all death as well and will slowly kill them as their drain away.
Hellion Magic: A magic that is powered by Demons. This magic can only be acquired by making deals with demons and binding them to the one who makes the contract. Though this great power can be given to those who form pacts with the damned and wreak havoc on all who cross them. But when the time comes for the deal to come to an end it will often be at the price of their soul.
