Asphodel is a secret known only to a select few, tucked away amidst the swirling thunderclouds that encircle the neighboring dominion of Kelheim. This picturesque valley is rendered invisible to all who would seek it in bad faith, concealed by a potent magical ward that was placed by the Antlered One himself. It is an idyllic place, where wildflowers bloom in riotous abundance and woodland creatures roam freely, living in harmony with the forces of nature. The River Empyreus winds its way through the valley like a sparkling blue ribbon, its holy waters providing nourishment to the flora and fauna that call this realm their home.
At the heart of the vale lies a misty grove, a sacred place of tranquility and solitude, where no mortal has ever set foot. It is here, surrounded by the rustling leaves of ancient trees, that Herne sleeps in timeless repose. His final wish before settling into this immortal trance was to remain undisturbed, and any attempt to rouse him from his slumber would be met with the unparalleled wrath of a god.
