Vaan Tal'Vo / Velassir
Backstory
Vaan is the youngest Tal'Vo by a long margin. He's age 30, which in the life span of an elf he is practically an infant. Thankfully, due to his mixed half-elf heritage he has matured much quicker than his siblings. He normally will be found wearing fine clothes, generally pale blue in colour (the family colour) with his rapier at his side. He's always seen wearing an adamantine necklace but hides it when other people are around that he's yet to trust. The Tal'Vo's are quite a famous noble family in Solaris . They run the magic item shop TalVos Rarities and travel Sorus in search of items to bring back and sell. His father Vekinn TalVo and a long-time family friend Maria Locke are also proficient in the creation of magic items. Vega TalVo , the eldest son, is set to inherit their father's life work and as such does much of the traveling to acquire magic items with his younger brother Vone. The family being well known made life difficult for Vaan; many rumors and much gossip brewed when Vekinn returned from one of his journeys with a white haired half-elf, claiming Vaan was his son. Vekinn, a stoic man, largely ignored the rumors around his new son and refuses to talk about his birth mother. You can tell Vaan isn't a "true born" Tal'Vo just by looking at him. The Tal'Vo's are all around 6' tall while Vann is a bit shorter in comparison at 5'6". His skin is darker compared to his pale-skinned family, but the most obvious sign is his white hair and pale silver eyes compared to his familys dark brown/black hair and bright green eyes. The Tal'Vo family is a magical family made up of powerful sorcerers. As Vaan grew up, his magic started to evolve around the age of 10 but he was never able to master nor control it. His father got him to train with a blademaster, his best friend Criden Dorn'xin . Criden used to entertain Vaan with tales of his and Vekinn's adventures from the civil war. Vekinn would never tell him these tales, so Vaan was happy to listen to his masters stories. Criden also taught the young boy Undercommon, which was a commonplace sign of respect towards their lost elven brothers, the Drow . When Vaan was young, around 16, he made a friend with a Dwarf by the name of Hone Slatefist who quickly became one of his only friends. He taught Vaan his language and vice-versa. They would spend as much time as they could together when the Tal'Vos would pass through Dun Norgos on the way North to trade or more commonly when the dwarf would come visit Solaris. When Vaan turned 30 he decided it was time to find his mother. After asking his father about his mother, Vann decided to leave his home in search for her, as his questions were met with meaningful silence.During Campaign
