Ootaki/Karatarkan

An ethnicity and culture that is migratory in nature, and can vary greatly within its smaller groups and clans, which each have their own views, ways of life, and religions. At the core, most of them revere the Gateway, an ancient spring in the centre of Karataki, as a spiritual and ancestral link. There is a particular focus on ancestors and the past, and many idols are often carved to honour them.
