Auctori
The Auctori are a tall and slender people, with many standing between 6 and 7ft. tall. Each has eight distinct limbs: two humanoid arms, two humanoid legs, and four spider-like arms extending from their back. Auctori tend to have silver hair, though different pigments do exist. They also have eight eyes: two humanoid eyes with three smaller eyes forming a triangular shape that extends up toward the left and right side of their temples from the left and right eyes respectively.

Spider Walk. The Auctori are a graceful species, able to ascend and descend vertical surfaces with ease thanks to limbs that protrude from their back. Instead of halving your pilot's Speed while climbing, reduce it by 1. Additionally, climbing should never require the pilot to make a skill check unless the climb is especially difficult (e.g. climbing up a waterfall, being buffeted by strong winds, etc.).
Subspecies. Choose a subspecies from the following:

Lupinus
Natural Predator. Lupinus Auctori are born athletes, and are able to run faster than the average Auctori. Gain a +1 to your pilot's Speed.Widow
Neurotoxin. These Auctori are venomous people, whose bite is far more dangerous than their bark. When engaging in melee combat in narrative play (e.g. outside of a mech) a Widow can invoke their Neurotoxin to gain +1 Accuracy on any attack that intends to be lethal. Additionally, this Neurotoxin can be applied to any weapon with the Archaic tag over the course of a rest to grant it +2 bonus damage.Taranto
Powerful Build. The Taranto Auctori is the largest and hairiest subspecies of all the Auctori. Your Size becomes 1, meaning you cannot operate mechs that have a Size of 1/2. This also changes any rules relating to pilot Size; i.e. a pilot usually cannot lift or drag anything greater than Size 1/2, but due to this feature a Taranto pilot would instead not be able to lift or drag anything greater than Size 1.Weaver
Silken Strands. These Auctori can weave strands of silk, produced from their body. If used in an offensive manner, a Weaver can attempt to inflict the Immobilised condition on a foe of Size 1/2 or lower by throwing their webbing at them. This succeeds if the pilot makes an attack (adding only their Grit, no triggers) that equals or is greater than the target's Evasion. Alternatively, this webbing can be thrown on the ground and set as a trap (Size 1), making any creature of Size 1/2 or lower Immobilised if they do not succeed on a Grit save upon stepping on that space. In combat, these are both considered Full Actions, and this trait can only be used 1 + Grit number of times between Full Repairs.Example Names
