Eleventh Division, the Hound

The Hound was the eleventh division of the Eternal Empire's Fourth Fleet. Their leader was an A.I. called the Mastiff. This division was in charge of medical and the military police. This gives them a mixed reputation of both necessary and annoying do-gooders. While every division has some medical capability, none hold the long-term facilities that the Hound had. They also carry some resurrection capabilities, which is difficult for an atheistic military. But they also run the prison for defectors and other military criminals. In the invasion of the Veritian Leaf, other than their regular duties, the eleventh division is also in charge of running the occupation of conquered lands, making it a mostly defensive unit.
During the invasion of the Veritian Leaf, after the Tiger took the Church of Veritas city of Seraphim, the Hound held the city until the Winter Contingency went into effect. It was close to many of the more deadly fronts, so their medical facilities were in full capacity for the entire war. When the contingency hit, the Spring Ark crash landed near the city. The Hound negotiated with the Church their surrender, returning the city to them in exchange for safe passage to some land they conquered south from there which they renamed the Hill of Hounds. With their surrender, the Hound dissolved their military, forming a corporation called the Hound Hospitalis, focusing of providing healthcare to people.
