Great River Rhous

The "great river" as it is known to most peoples, flows from the sundering mountains in the east to the bay of Kalormenos ) in the west. It is the longest and widest river in all the land. Along its way it gathers up many smaller and bigger rivers until it reaches the inner sea.
The lands around it are mostly populated by Humans and by them simply called The Riverlands.
It has a huge river delta at its western end that can become up to 300 miles wide during late spring in wet years.
