Cioara Kaedermos
"So do Tenge and Astyr tell you about how fashionable and intelligent and extremely datable I am?"A flirty dramatic urbanite, Cioara loves attention and food of all kinds. She currently lives on Dias Onda in the capital city of the Order of Kansen, preferring the buzz and life of a big busy city than sleepier smaller places. Kind but proud, she can rub people the wrong way with her boastful nature.
Abilities:
- Shapeshifting: Cioara is part Morphid, and has the ability to shape her form to look like anything and anyone. Through practice, she has also learned to affect the shape of her vocal chords to a good degree of accurracy. Each change causes a bit of essence loss, and if she does not rebalance herself, small red cracks will form across her skin and she will become very hungry. She also cannot change her overall mass.
- Artificery: Cioara works professionally with Kanite artifacts, and can usually repair or break them after a bit of fiddling. She can combine this with her shapeshifting and store a set of shapeshifting properties in a Kanite artifact for others to use.

Cioara is a very confident and positive person, sometimes intimidatingly so. She gets along with anyone who loves fun and especially anyone who gives her food, and loves to share and brag about herself. She does tend to get into arguments frequently with people who don't agree with her, and has a lot of trouble admitting when she's wrong, to the point where she will cut people out of her life entirely as opposed to apologizing. Cioara learned early in life that looking like others will often make them more sympathetic to you. With people she doesn't know well, she'll often use her shapeshifting powers to imitate someone they know and trust. However, if they know her secret, she usually just does it to knock them back a peg when she thinks they're being unreasonable. Cioara is very focused on faces and likes direct eye contact. Various ways this manifests are touching people on the face, putting her arm around their shoulder and press them close to her face, or moving their shoulders/chin to look at her.Physical Description

Though the Conclave taught Cioara a small amount about her Morphid abilities, Cioara's mastery of her shapeshifting powers comes from the streets and city life, and her skills with artificing entirely self-taught.
Employment
Cioara has a complex series of jobs under different identities, including Wingbucks employee and professional artificer. Though her supervisors will often get angry with her for not showing up to her shifts on a regular basis, she's often able to talk her way into a paycheck with their supervisors.

While Cioara doesn't understand Demshul magic, she tries to stay extremely encouraging with Astyr. Astyr usually responds well, but sometimes finds it pressuring because he looks up to his big sister so much.Cioara and Astyr were raised together in the Conclave from their youth. Maintaining a very positive relationship growing up, Astyr and Cioara bonded over Astyr's unconventional but creative skills with cooking, though Cioara was certainly never above sisterly teasing. Upon their escape from the Conclave, Cioara found that she preferred big Kanite cities which were inaccessible to her magic-using brothers, at which point Astyr and Cioara drifted apart and Astyr only occassionally visited whichever new place Cioara had wandered. After the artifact disguising Astyr's wing came out, Astyr used the shake-n-sketch to ask for her help evading the Demshul authorities that were after him and replace the artifact that would hide his Kanite wing again. Cioara disclosed her location on Dias Onda and Astyr and Rana met her at a Wingbucks. Cioara fluctuated between taking Astyr's problems semi-seriously and showing off, but didn't seem to worry much when Astyr lost control of his body to Sydney, confident that he would return again (which he eventually did). When Astyr and Sydney were going to meet Brenna, Cioara protected Astyr from getting "jumped" by Vuudo, attacked by Kanite guards, and later freed him from his restraints in a holding cell aiding his escape at Dias Korgan. Astyr and Cioara parted ways at this point, both doing their best to escape Dias Korgan.
History
Tenge and Cioara disagree on everything except the opinion that they should stay far away from each other at all times. Astyr cares about them both and this makes him sad.Cioara and Tenge were raised together in the Conclave from their youth. They had a nearly-constant rivalry, and only sort of got along growing up because of their mutual appreciation for Astyr. Upon their escape from the Conclave, Tenge and Cioara clashed a lot about what to do and were happy to go their separate ways. When Cioara tried to help Astyr and Sydney escape the prison at Dias Korgan and was captured herself, DarkTenge kidnapped her and brought her to Hannah's studio. When Cioara pumped DarkTenge for answers about his role in the Conclave and why he stayed behind, their past disagreements immediately reignited, and Cioara narrowly escaped his grasp by using her Morphid shapeshifting powers on herself to cut her ropes and later to transform Vuudo into looking like her.
History
Cioara can't touch Rana without cracking, and this makes her feel extremely uneasy and suspicious. Cioara keeps trying to reason that it's nothing, but she can't shake it....After the artifact disguising Astyr's wing came out, Cioara disclosed her location on Dias Onda and Astyr and Rana met her at a Wingbucks. Cioara was initially happy to meet Rana, but quickly became suspicious when she found that touching Rana made her instantly form cracks and a containment artifact got set off in Liesel's hangar, both indicating that the essence of what Rana touched was being destabilized. Later when freeing Astyr and Sydney at Dias Korgan, Cioara brings up Rana's effects on her.
History
Sydney appreciates Cioara's help, but is uneasy about how effortlessly she changes her sense of self, while Cioara can't understand putting yourself through suffering when you can just cut and run. Maybe they both have something to learn from each other?While it wasn't a true meeting, Sydney came to know Cioara from viewing Astyr's childhood flashbacks. Later when Sydney took control of Astyr's body, they met properly and escaped Liesel's hangar together. Cioara helped Sydney acclimate to hiding on Dias Onda and later worked with Rana to create an artifact to make Sydney appear like herself while in Astyr's body. Cioara and Sydney spent the next day together searching Dias Onda for Brendolyn Jaleen, after which both became frustrated at each other: Cioara for Sydney's rigid adherance to the rules and Sydney for Cioara's lack of understanding of her core values. Sydney and Cioara return to Cioara's apartment, and the next morning Sydney has been restored to her body. When they discover Rana is missing and a summons has been delivered to Cioara's apartment for Sydney, Cioara chases after the delivery person. Later, Cioara stumbles upon Sydney and Madir in a conflict, and disguises herself to save Sydney and Astyr. Cioara later follows and frees them both from a holding cell in Dias Korgan, after which they part ways.
