Kanite

Kanites are a humanoid species with prominent white feathered wings which they can use to fly.

Strong Essence

Kanites have a robust essence system, allowing them to easily jump between worlds. Dweller's essence can be bound to a Kanite (usually by means of an artifact), making them jump together when the Kanite leaves a world.

Feathered Wings

Kanites sport prominent white feathered wings, which they can use to fly. The care of their wings involves a magic oiling process to repell dirt and moisture. Molting happens on a cyclical basis, during which Kanites lose and regrow their feathers. They will typically hide their wings under molting cloaks for the duration of their molt.

Molting cloaks can be found in many fashions and styles and have built-in absorbtion for feather loss during a Kanite's cycle

Kanite Society

Kanites are all considered under the jurisdiction of the Order of Kansen, and very few choose to live outside their government.
