Dark Elf
The elven people who felt the ties to the element of Earth journeyed into the caverns and caves underneath Errath . There they established their own society, often interacting, trading, or warring with the dwarves. The largest population of 'drow', as the dwarves called them, settled under the land that would become Helgest, building their own society that occasionally traded with the dwarves and the human nation above. When the Dragon War came, the drow were an integral part of the Drachenkaiser's armies.
With their homeland in the Midlands lost, the dark elves are a scattered people. Some haev found refuge among dwarven communities. But a great many were with Helgest forces and have been left scattered and maligned. One nation has a significant drow population, the seaside nation of Maircage where they have been welcomed.
Appearance: The drow have complexions matching the stone and earth they favor, from deep browns to grays, with a few rare ones having a pale marble like appearance. Their hair runs from black to white, and their eyes are universally shades of red.
