Maircage (Mare-cozh)
What began as one port city of Avienne, Maircage has grown to cover multiple ports and cities along the western coast of the Capriseaux Sea. Past the coast is one of the world's largest swamps, extending far to the west, towards the Great Desert. The swamp has scattered communities along the coast, but they drop off steadily as one goes further in, giving way to small family territories, and to the original denizens of the land. The Lizardmen largely control the swamp, and many don't react well to travelers. There are other dangers as well, monstrous creatures that call the swamp home, and anyone asking may have trouble telling fact from fiction as the locals talk about the things they've seen.
