Dukedom of Cavanaugh
The Dukedom of Cavanaugh was founded by a conglomerate of predominantly Northmen and some Cath Bruig peoples.
They faced their first challenge, when they were attacked by the Undead led by the Fiend, known as Cartuke, in the eastern Campaigns of the War Against Soulblighter. Duke Henri Volsung, along with General Fenris, the fir'Bolg War Chief, ne'Ric, the Journeyman Four Bear Silent Oak and Kyrand the Mage, were finally able to defeat Cartuke in the closing months of the war, but at the cost of Kyrand's life.
Since then, the City of Meridia has prospered, making Cavanaugh the most prosperous of the Protectorate Realms of the Cath Bruig Empire.
